On this page we will feature some of the unusual recoveries that we do. You will wonder just how people get their cars into such situations, but mostly you will wonder how in the heck we got it out of there.

This Plymouth Mini Van didn't make a turn when it should have, unknown as to why it didn't, the driver fled the scene. It jumped the curb went thru a fence and down the embankment thru the trees and bushes.

As you can see it did quite a bit of damage to the fence and landscaping.

Lucky for us it came to rest a short distance from a service access road, since the van had sections of fencing and trees lodged under it that would have dug into the ground if we had tried to winch the vehicle back up the hill.

Here you see Joe clearing some debris and hooking a line to the uphill corner of the van.

We then started the van and put it into gear and let it drive itself down to the access road, controlling it's descent with our winch. This makes for an easier recovery, less damage to the landscaping, which makes everyone involved happier.

Here it is back up on the street and ready to load up for the trip back to the storage yard.
